CELEBRATING 54 YEARS

Our studio and Dee Dots was established back in 1967, in Mickleton, New Jersey a town within East Greenwich Township. The studio began its foundation for a well established business of today. Now located in Woolwich Township for the past 40 years beautiful country setting and plenty of parking. In 2017 we celebrated 50 Years of business to the surrounding communities. We are located in our new 6000 sq. ft. facility on Garwin Rd., Woolwich, N.J. The large studio rooms have mirrored walls, AC and large viewing windows.

PHILOSOPHY

At Dee Dots Dance Academy, our goal is to provide your child with a structured and fun environment in which they will be educated in the technique and fundamentals of dance.
The progress of each student is important to us whether pursuing competitive dance or dancing for pure enjoyment and exercise. All students will receive excellent instruction throughout the year. Our goal is to provide a fun and healthy atmosphere while raising your child’s self esteem, building confidence, and achieving success in order to excel.

MEET OUR STAFF

Our staff holds 92 combined years of teaching and nurturing children in the arts. Our experience will bring out the movement and rhythm in your child while perfecting a foundation for advanced dancers.

Dorathy A. Garozzo is the owner of the studio along with her family. The instructors at the studio are graduates of Glassboro State College, Rowan College, Rowan University, GCC , Neuman College and Rutgers University. Within the staff, 75% of the instructors are educators during the daytime hours, which we feel is an asset to our staff knowing our staff has an interest and love for children. Most of the staff have a theater or dance background from college, etc. Three of our instructors have performed in their particular colleges productions. One instructor has been choreographing for high schools in the area for 10 years. Our Asst. Director also has her degree in Early Childhood Education. The interest in dance, life and love of children’s accomplishments is important to us. We hope your child becomes a part of our studio and our lives

DANCE CLASSES

We teach students of all ages and levels. Our classes range from ballet and jazz to tap, hip-hop, acro-dance, musical theater and much more.

KARATE CLASSES

“Goju” is a Japanese form of karate. The form, focus, and control of the student’s body and mind are developed during this 45-minute class. Students gain confidence while learning the basics for self-defense.
